Besaleel, renowned for his Polish box-office hits, developed quite unusual tech methods to film Putin's character. He explains, “Inviting Putin to the studio wasn’t an option, and the material available didn't allow us to train a high-resolution model suitable for cinema. Hence, we created pioneering AI-driven technology to craft our character.”
Incorporating footage shot by Ukrainian filmmakers during the Russian invasion, the movie even promises a humorous slant, picturing Putin undergoing martial arts training and caught in an awkward moment of a soiled nappy.
But strikes a more serious tone, Besaleel reinforces that “Putin is not just a film; it's an answer to understanding the motives and drives of a controversial political figure, offering viewers a ‘manual' to Putin's operations.
