Aimed at early-career researchers brimming with entrepreneurial zeal from partner universities across the UK, this program aspires to transform cutting-edge AI concepts into real-world solutions.
The impressive curriculum brings together substantial AI knowledge with business acumen, networking opportunities, and a deep understanding of entrepreneurship, creating a robust foundation for innovative startups. Hiten Thakrar, the driving force behind this initiative, aims to transform today's forward-thinking researchers into tomorrow's leaders, utilising AI to solve complex societal issues.
You can join the revolution if you have AI technology taking shape at the proof-of-concept stage. This journey will culminate in a six-month acceleration programme. Along the way, participants will gain insights from seasoned entrepreneurs, influential investors, and AI experts from across the industry.
Each team will also have access to £20,000 in non-dilutive funding, aiding everything from initial prototyping to market validation. The AI SuperConnector is not only directed toward health and medical technology but also signifies Imperial's readiness to embrace the broader applicability of AI in sectors such as defence, sustainability, and autonomous systems.
The track record of Imperial’s MedTech SuperConnector, which spawned 14 startups, created more than 30 jobs, and raised over £19 million, underscores the potential for success of the AI SuperConnector.
